Friends, confusion is rife, it’s January and frankly it’s all a bit shit. Forgive the swearing but it’s uncertainty is not our friend in the short term. So, my post here is about bringing our own personal world a little bit closer, drawing your emotional curtains and having some time out to do something you might not usually do.
Take 30 minutes, switch your phone to silent and enjoy.
Attached to this post below is an activity for you. Something to take you to a different place, a calmer one.
Nothing special is needed, simply a pencil and a pen what is needed though, is your personal permission for you to have some time out - I am convinced that you will feel better for having a go.
Our activity is simply and suitable for everyone.
In truth, this past week has had me feeling down. I am sure it will get sorted and our political leaders won’t be taking us into the abyss, watching it unfold however is pretty dreadful. My personal aim for this week is to not to watch it all so intently, doing so is not bringing me joy, just worry and like a parent, I need to edit out as I would for my children. The tv goes off and selected podcasts go on, Radio 4 Extra & Radio 6 music are good places to zone out to as well
So, this week my aim for you is the same.
Select your actions this week, self-protect yourself and engage in activities that take you to a different place in your mind, even for a bit.
Our activity is below - In exchange and good will, it would be much to me that you pop in your email address - this helps me muchly.
