It’s fair to say that my world is definitely a dog-centred one. I paint them daily, learn about them for fun, fall to my knees to greet them in the park (this actually happens) and adore my own, Barney as much as I do my children.
So this next step in my doggy-orientated world is a bit of a given...
The news is that our family is planning to offer full on, doggy day care, here in studio, and of course, our home.
I AM SO EXCITED!
It’s a process of course, there are things to be done, arrangements to be made, licenses to apply for, insurances to get and fences to be erected, dog behaviour courses to undertake, but in short, it’s going to happen.
My plan is to get started with just two dogs. Two dogs that will be with Barney & I daily, in my studio as I paint, accompany us on our twice daily walks and enjoy loving, small group care.
I’ll be posting more about this, blogging about my journey to become a professional dog sitter - who knows...perhaps this is something that you might be interested in doing?
Oh, and the name for this new part of my business? Sam’s Studio Dogs.
More soon, Sam x
