Happy (nearly) New Year.  It’s the last day of 2018 and in short it’s been a great one for me. ipaintdogs has bought the first year of sales that we as a family can actually live by, we are all in good personal health and I feel blessed.

It would be remiss of me to say that this year didn’t have it’s challenges, but no challenges = no real life.  Near misses dictate that we cherish more.

So what’s on your wish-list for next year?

Here is an exercise for you…

The Bigger Picture 2019

Gather yourself a sheet of paper and a pen or pencil.  Cup of tea/coffee or other, switch your phone to silent give yourself 10 - 15 mins of downtime.

Together we are going to draw it out.

The idea here is not to limit, be as wishful as you please about the next 12 months.

Make as many circles as you need for your immediate family members, then make a circle underneath that says family.

Then, simply doodle your way through the things you would like to achieve this year.  I realise that I’ve said earlier to be wishful, the idea here is not to limit yourself.

Make arrows and new bubbles as needed, draw your wants, not only writing?  Is little Timmy joining the rugby team this year? Draw some boots or a ball - are you wanting to complete your swimathon?  Draw you in the pool.

You are not making works of art here, more by employing doodle-drawing you are using a different part of your brain, not only the logic but the creative too.

Go about it freely and most important of all, enjoy the process.

Below is mine, both drawn and worded due to time limits. It’s easy to download, admittedly it feels a little odd to share something so personal, but there is nothing like an example.

Simply drop in your details and you will find it immediately. (you will then be on the mailing list too)
