Nurturing Our Creative Selves
Creativity is a natural human function that often appears as:
- Curiosity – the urge to explore, ask questions, and look at things a little differently.
- Playfulness – the freedom to experiment - without a fear of failure.
- Authenticity – the courage to express your unique perspective.
- Flow – the state where you lose track of time because you’re fully immersed.
If your creativity feels like it is sitting in a lidded box stored in a cupboard under the stairs for decades, this is for you.
- COMING SOON -

A little about Me & Artfully Minded:
Artfully Minded is the culmination of years of work on my part. I’ve led hundreds of workshops, racked up thousands of hours teaching, organised, delivered, and evaluated social art schemes galore - all the art events I have ever experienced add up to this curated series of creative projects.
I’ve been designing Artfully Minded in my head forever. Art kits to remove the barriers we all feel when doing something new, events & learning workshops online and in person - in-work placements, and perhaps a subscription service down the line too.
My North Star has been to design creative ideas, exercises, and projects that deliver my clients into creative calm and joy swiftly - by reducing the common, natural fear-factors around doing art, such as those pesky common stories we tell ourselves, such as “I can’t draw” or “but I’m not an artist”.
My wish
to introduce people to the brain-settling benefits of using our hands creatively and the benefits of doing so
My why
because engaging with our hands creatively, we get to ‘turn the world around us down’. Doing art slows our systems and reduces anxieties, in turn boosting feelings of happiness, relaxation, self-discovery, and accomplishment.
My how
Step 1: Continue making my Painting Parcels as and when I can
STEP 2: GETTING PROGRAMME-READY FOR THE WINTER MONTHS.
Step 3: Evaluate the in-workplace workshops already booked to happen
Step 4: Share the workload with other artists I know, love, and trust. Consult with Ewan Stickley on all my projects for maximum Wellbeing gain for my clients. (Ewan is a registered wellbeing Counsellor & Therapist)
Step 5: Distrust my fear feelings; they are normal.
Step 6: Continue to work with my Creative Mentor on growing Artfully Minded.
So now we know one another a little better, perhaps you would consider joining me for some creative fun.
