Shingle Street is a beautiful spot here in Suffolk and well known for it’s beautiful living sculpture known as ‘The Shell Line’, or the friendship line
This is an artist-creative sculpture of white shells arranged along the coastline.First initiated by Lida Cardozo and later maintained by locals as a symbol of hope and survival and frankly, it’s life-affirming to see.
Also found at beautiful Shingle Street is a gorgeous natural lagoon which I have painted in the past, complete with families picnicking around it - it’s a very special place and close to my heart.
This painting is 30 × 30 × 1cm. It is set in a beautiful handmade cornish frame, actually made in Cornwall. It is painted in ‘Joanna’ paint by Little Green Paint Company.
