Quietly Encouraging: A Workshop about Running Workshops. (PAYC)

from £4.00

The world needs art workshops!

We need people to run events and offer in-person solutions to combat feelings of loneliness, encourage others to take up a new skills and pastime all the while filling the creative void that many people feel in thier lives.

In order to run these events, feel nurtured and inspired ourselves, and be willing to repeat the process by way of further events, we need to be paid properly.

In our session via Zoom, I’m going to be sharing all that I know about what it takes to run a good experience. From planning to preparation, delivery to evaluating what worked and what could have gone better, I’m all about sharing what has worked for me personally - and what hasn’t!

This session is about running workshops for adults, there will be another session coming soon for working with families and children.

Offering events and workshops can be a good addition to your income, in fact, many artists decide that workshops and events become the major part of thier businesses, it’s entirely up to you. It all begins with your first few events.

I’m offering this as a pay-as-you-can, from £4 - £30, there is no judgement only a wish that you will find inspiration and confidence to push the button and offer your own events.

Our session will be via Zoom on Wednesday 8th April, 10am-11am. A recording will be sent to you afterwards via email. There is no workbook for this session. Please feel free to email me questions here before the event - there will be time for Q&A’s too.
