Our ‘Friendly Sketch Club’ Summer Dates in Suffolk, including Woodbridge, Framlingham, Ipswich & Woodbridge (revisited)
If you love the idea of drawing outside but never seem to get there, come and join us to do some together! These inspiring, pre-planned outings are perfect for super-beginners to advanced artists; you need ZERO drawing skills to come and join us.
Run by myself and artist Hannah Huntly of HH Studios, we want to encourage you into the wonderful world of drawing through these low-distanced, high-impact, friendly sketch events.
Come & Join us for a friendly sketch club date in Woodbridge, along the beautiful Quay on Thursday 18th June, 6.30 - 8pm
Organised and run by wonderful artist and illustrator Hannah Huntly (of HH Studio) and me - two artists together ❤️
We will meet up at 6.30pm at The Ferry Cafe on the Quay, then work our way around the boats, stopping at 3 planned stops to draw. Our combined walk is estimated at 0.4 miles, so not far and offers plentiful inspiration.
This event is suitable for ALL LEVELS of art skill, from super beginner to advanced artists. You need no existing drawing abilities to join us, just a willingness to have a go and let Hannah and me guide you along the way.

Please bring your own art materials, remember we are drawing, not painting, so a sketchbook, pencil, pens, or colour pencils. Only basic materials are needed, making it easy for us to move from drawing spot to the next.

The best place to park is in the car park next to the train station. You then just have to go over the train bridge to meet us at the Cafe on the other side.

Hannah and I are yet to plan our route, but it will involve beautiful, historical buildings.

We will meet up at 2pm outside Christchurch Mansion in Christchurch Park. More details to follow, but our walk will not be far and offering a visual feast.
