This painting comes from a second-shuffle around of flowers - you know that thing when you need to remove some of the older ones that are on the way out and you refresh the water, then rejig the stems that have more life in them? That!
This painting has a slightly more contemporary feel to it, perhaps it’s the composition of the flowers, I can’t quite put my finger on it, but it’s been hanging in my home for a while now and I am super-fond of it!
It is 100 x 100cm on a deep box canvas of 4cm.
