Coffee Pot & Jug, Ceramic Drawing, Signed

£75.00
sold out

I love a display plate to hang on the wall or prop on a shelf.

These ceramic drawings are both sustainable and original. The former because they are all on plates and items sourced and found in charity shops - and original because each drawing upon the plate is completed by my own hand.

34cm in diameter, these (ex-pizza) plates offer a wonderful surface on which to draw items in the Inkteriors collection.

The process to make these works are to first source suitable wares, and after deep cleaning, a line drawing is made using porcelain paint. Left to dry for 24hrs, the plates are then baked in my oven for 40 minutes leaving to cool completely. Back into my studio for final cleaning and then a matt varnish is applied, leaving to dry for a further 24hrs.

The final work is tough and permanent. They are not food-safe and can be washed in warm soapy water.

Postage is £10 within the UK. At the checkout, please select Delivery Fee for Ceramics
