'Delphiniums'. Original Painting on Canvas
Delphiniums symbolise: cheerfulness, goodwill, encouragement and joy.
Delphiniums are one of my favourite, most enjoyed flowers.
This painting tells the story of two failed paintings made before it. Working hard on two works that simply didn’t work, I asked Carl (my partner) to please paint them both over for me - a glum process which takes some time. He did a great job. Knowing I was a bit fed up, he went to our local market and purchased me two beautiful bunches of blue Delphinums, knowing that as I love them so much, I would have to have a go at painting them!
This painting is the result of all the above.
It is large at 100 x 100cm on a deep box canvas of 4cm.
